Designing from Home the E-Design Way...!

E-Design has become extremely popular these days, and then again it is still a relatively unknown option when you are considering redecorating your home. Let’s face it, when you are thinking about decorating, yes, you surf through the usual websites like Google and Pinterest to get some inspiration and design style ideas, then peruse the dozens of furniture stores to try to replicate, but do you really consider designing online? We are all so inclined to travel from store to store to purchase our items, then when we get everything delivered hope that everything works together.

I have been designing for just over 10 years and to be honest, I wish there had been a service like e-design back then where you could view furniture or fabric suggestions all online rather than traveling store to store looking at ideas and if you couldn’t find anything at that store, then off to another you’d go. It was both time consuming and exhausting all at the same time, however, that was the way traditional interior design was done back then!

With the world ever changing and technology making life so much easier and convenient it isn’t surprising that many industries are looking at ways to market and or sell their brand or products on line, reaching a far wider audience than ever before.

E-design for example is not reserved just for local clients, not at all. E-design has the ability to accommodate clients all over the contiguous United States and depending on how you have yourself set up, assist overseas clientele too.

Designer on Call Service

The Designer on Call service is a very simple and inexpensive service for those “savvy” home decorators that just need that second opinion or finishing touch to help complete their design journey. Often times clients have the majority of their furnishings so all you might need is to simply select decorative pillows for your bed or sofa, perhaps you need to replace a light fixture above your dining room table or in a bedroom, styling a console or nightstand or maybe you might need help picking out new flooring colors or tile that coincides with the rest of the home.

As an E-Designer using email, Face-Time or Zoom you can show us your challenges and we can help you virtually and either navigate you through or provide a couple of alternatives if needs be, as shown in the small vignettes below.

Lastly, if you find you need help while you are out shopping and come across a piece that you are “humming and haaaing” over, take us with you and we can communicate while you are shopping! Those are always fun:-)

Accents & Accessories Package

The Accents & Accessories Package is just that. This is for those who have completed the majority of their design, purchased all the fundamentals and now need to make it look and feel comfortable and pleasing to the eye.

The bedroom or living room furniture has been delivered or the bathroom or kitchen remodel is done barring the hardware and decorative accents. The next step is adding those all important accent, accessories and finishing touches, key to making a room complete. This is by far the most enjoyable part of designing a space, not just for the Designer perse, but for anyone, adding accents, accessories, nick knacks, area rugs, table top accessories, lighting, faucets or cabinet pulls, it’s all very exciting! This service is perfect for that in that we can provide you with an Accents & Accessories Board detailing suggestions and choices so you can see how they marry together.

We will provide you a PDF shoppable vendor list or personal Pinterest Board (depending on your preference) that provides all the links to the pieces and you can “Click & Shop” at your leisure, as your budget allows then place in their designated spot!

Concept E-Design Package

The Concept Package offers personalized design assistance and guidance from the ground up. You maybe have some thoughts but need help gathering together some pieces in order to pull the design together. Or maybe you just don’t know what you want and just need help with a design idea. Either way, the Concept Package can be very helpful. We can listen to your needs then collect items based on your taste then create a Concept Board as shown below arranged in a semi-room format so you can visualize the design as a whole. Not completely sold…. that’s okay we offer two complimentary revisions should you like to see an alternative to one of the suggestions.
